Church Road Chardonnay is a blend of wines from their best vineyards in the Tuki Tuki river valley, grown and crafted to deliver a full-bodied yet refined wine. This cooler wine growing district delivers beautifully fragrant Chardonnay with weight, minerality and fresh natural acidity. Subtle citrus, citrus flower, mineral, ripe melon, fig and hazelnut on the palate. The palate is full but elegant, with a seam of minerality adding length and balance.

The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. The finest free run juice was barrel fermented in predominantly older French oak to produce this finely textured, elegant Chardonnay. Vibrant citrus and stonefruit flavours are overlaid with subtle creamy oak and complexities of toasted hazelnut and brioche.

The Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon blend is one of the most challenging and exciting wine styles to produce. There is a synergy between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that produces arguably the most complete, complex, fragrant and satisfying style of red wine in the world. Grown in the warm climates and light, stony soils of the Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels - Church Road Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon has a core of dark berry fruit, cherry and plum that is lifted by top notes of subtle spice, violet, rosewood and cedar. Medium weight on the palate initially, before building to a long, substantial finish.

Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. A richly textured Pinot Gris with exceptional aromatics. Pear drop and nectarine aromas are heightened by lifted ginger spice, rose and honeysuckle notes, while the palate is rich and long with a medium dry finish. This wine is well matched with seafood, white meats and many Asian-inspired dishes.

Church Road Syrah expressed the warm climate of Hawke's Bay perfectly with ripe plum, cherry and hints of spice. Complexity from it's time in oak barrels offers this wine profound texture, body and finesse. Suitable for any occasion and paired with red meats, pastas or to have with your next convivial moment shared with friends or family.

The Pelorus is crisp and balanced. The pale straw colour and aromas of ripe citrus hint at its Chardonnay origins. On the nose, a bouquet of apple and lemon complements the aromas of fresh bread, drawn from two years' bottle ageing on lees.

Tawny Ports are a blend of young wines from various harvests, are kept for an average of two to three years in casks. They are lighter in colour than Ruby Ports and combine the fruitiness of young wines and the nuttiness derived from the maturation in seasoned oak casks. Cockburn's Fine Tawny is an elegant Port with mellow and spicy flavours. Perfect served chilled at the end of a dinner or simply to enjoy with good friends on relaxed occasions.
