- 1 blender
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 4 lime wedges
- ½ avocado, pitted and peeled
- ½ cup tequila reposado
- 6 tablespoons triple sec
- 6 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
- 1½ cups crushed ice
Directions
- To prepare the glasses, spread the salt on a plate.
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip into the mixture.
- To make the margarita, add the avocado, tequila, triple sec, juice, cilantro, and ice to a blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour into the prepared glasses.
Notes
Use a quality blender that can really puree the ice; otherwise, it won’t be creamy.
